“Folk Art Hub” Foundation and “Irogi” Shadow Theater “Second National Shadow Play” festival was held this year in joint efforts with
More than 10 groups from Armenia participated in the festival from different regions and the Russian Federation.
Continuing the tradition of the Armenian shadow play, the groups used both traditional puppets and scenarios, as well as presented performances full of innovative tricks and technical solutions.
The age diversity of the participants inspires hope for the good future of this branch of Armenian culture.
One of the oldest types of theater is experiencing a new development every year and is spreading in Armenia, starting from schools, among children to adults.
